Nuru House closed in 2025. It reopened on 8 May 2026 under the same name, in a building rebuilt around a single idea: that nuru massage in Pattaya deserved a house designed for it.

Why the first Nuru House closed in 2025

Our lease came to an end in 2025 and we lost the building. Rather than fight it out we shut the doors and took the time to think.

With hindsight, it did us a favour.

The first Nuru House was an honest house. The gel was the real Japanese product, the mattress was the real thing, and the technique came down from Daisy Dream in Bangkok, where authentic Japanese nuru massage first arrived in Thailand. What happened inside the room was right from the first day.

The room itself was not. The decor could have belonged to any Thai spa on any street in the country: neutral, serviceable, forgettable. It felt unfinished, because it was. Guests came for a nuru massage and got a nuru massage. What they did not get was a house worth the name we had given it.

What reopened on 8 May 2026

The façade is new. The lobby is new. The suites are not renovated versions of the old ones: they are larger, and they were built as nuru massage rooms rather than adapted into them.

The palette runs deep purple, dark grey, brass and bronze, under lighting kept low on purpose. It is the opposite of the clinical white that most massage in Pattaya still defaults to, and it is deliberate: a nuru massage is not a treatment, and the room should not look like a clinic.

Suites built for nuru massage and soapy massage

Every suite now has an oversized Jacuzzi. That single decision changes the soapy massage completely: there is room for two, room to move, and no reason to hurry. A soapy massage here is an event rather than a formality negotiated around the plumbing.

The nuru mattress sits in the same room, which is what makes our signature possible: a soapy massage and a nuru massage back to back, ninety minutes, without leaving the suite or breaking the mood. If you are still deciding between the two, we wrote a guide to nuru and soapy massage in Pattaya that lays out the difference honestly.

The Boby Lounge & Bar

The part we are proudest of is the one nobody asked us for.

Next to the lobby there is now a proper lounge and bar. You can arrive early and have a drink in charming company before your session, or stay afterwards instead of walking straight back out into the street.

It sounds like a small thing. It is not. It changes what a visit to Nuru House is: not an appointment you keep, but an evening you spend.

Daisy Dream as the reference, Pattaya as the brief

Nuru House and Daisy Dream Bangkok share the same owners, and rebuilding let us take the Sukhumvit house as our reference and then push past it.

Not copy it. Bangkok runs on discretion: an hour carved quietly out of a working day. Pattaya does not work like that and never has. So the new house keeps Daisy Dream's standard and answers a different city: more space, more velvet, a bar to sit at, and suites built for a soapy massage that is meant to be enjoyed rather than endured.

The most authentic nuru massage in Pattaya

We could have reopened under a new name. Plenty of places would have.

We kept ours, because the name was never the problem. The house behind it was. Nuru House now means what it always claimed: the place where nuru massage in Pattaya is at its most authentic, and its most sophisticated.
